Research Assistant in Educational Game Development position (Fixed-term) at Bournemouth University, UK

We are looking for a Research Assistant to work on the development of a fully-working prototype educational/serious game using current industry-standard tools and middleware. This interactive, multi-platform game will aim to enhance the tuition of dementia patient care to BU nursing student cohorts. 

 C++ knowledge plus experience with working on a contemporary game development engine (such as Unreal, CryEngine or Unity) is essential. Industry experience (with at least one published gaming title) would be desirable. 

 You will have a degree, research interests and experience in this area. You will be given support in developing your knowledge and skills of research methods and project management and will be encouraged to publish. You must be willing to engage in further personal academic development, working closely with the academic leadership within the community. 

This post is available on a one year fixed term contract.
