Research Assistant or Associate Professor, Synthetic Reality Lab, University of Central Florida

The University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation & Training (IST) is accepting applications for a research assistant professor or a research associate professor in the Synthetic Reality Lab (SREAL). This full-time, non-tenure earning position includes management of and research collaboration related to certain sponsored research carried out in the SREAL. The sponsored research covers the general fields of Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Human-Computer Interaction, and associated Social Psychology. While the primary responsibility is for skilled management of research-related tasks, deadlines, resources, and personnel, it is expected that the individual will also contribute to research in terms of creative ideas, mentoring, and related academic activities.
