Open Postdoc/PhD position in Aachen

In a new EU project starting in spring 2020, we have an open position for a postdoctoral or a doctoral researcher available in our group at RWTH Aachen University, one of the excellence universities in Germany. The position is fully funded for four years. The research in this project includes the development and evaluation of VR, AR, as well as Immersive Analytics methods for the maintenance of huge tanker ships through collaborative semi-autonomous mobile robots and drones. Apart from knowledge and experience in VR/AR, 3D user interfaces and visualization, applicants should particularly have excellent software engineering skills.
