The Department of Computer and Information Science is seeking a highly-qualified applicant for a

Postdoctoral Researcher

The position is available starting in January 2015 for a duration of up to 2 years. In principle, this position can be divided into two half-time positions. 
The position is in the Computer Graphics group of Prof. Dr. Oliver Deussen with focus on Computer Graphics and should deal with the following research project: 

Intended Topic: Evaluation of sampling methods in computer graphics

Required qualifications:

• PhD in computer science or closely related fields (e.g. Information Engineering, Media Informatics, Mathematics) 
• Advanced knowledge in computer graphics

Suitable applicants have an above-average promotion as well as in depth knowledge of computer graphics, visualization or experience in the areas of work of the working group. Motivation for active participation in research, teaching and administration as well as interdisciplinary teamwork is an important prerequisite.
