Professor in Visualization at UiB.no

The Department of Informatics (UiB.no/ii) at the University of Bergen in Norway (UiB.no) has the opportunity to hire a new professor (a full, i.e., tenured professor) into the visualization research group there (ii.UiB.no/vis) with the overall goal to achieve a good complementary fit with the existing research/teaching profile in visualization.

The position has been announced via the jobbnorge-portal (jobbnorge.no/job.aspx?jobid=78722), together with a description of the environment and the plans wrt. the new professor, and the application deadline was set to Dec. 22nd, 2011.
